Audio Recording Module

ComREC

Standalone or combined with other modules, this application focuses on audio recording. Stored data can easily be looked up and played whenever needed. In addition, also respective call details are automatically provided. Audio records can be extremely useful that’s why Commend audio records can easily be exported as files.

Quality of Service

Analyse your calls and make use of the results for e.g. employee trainings in the control room. Knowing what went wrong, which topics are commonly addressed and where problems for your customers are likely to arise substantially supports you in improving your Quality of Service and your operational efficiency.

Evidence Keeping

Where documentation and evidence keeping are concerned (e.g. emergency calls), the ability to make audio recordings is crucial. It is only with this function that situations can be reviewed and assessed accurately later on.

Module Description

ComREC is a Windows-based audio recording solution that enables easy, user-friendly capturing and editing of Intercom connections within the Studio platform.

  • RTP (Real-Time Transport Protocol) audio streams can be recorded directly and conveniently from any IP terminal.
  • Analogue and digital subscriber connections can be recorded via the Intercom Server.
  • Support for up to 100 simultaneous audio streams (up to five per IP card) and storage of up to 10 million recordings
  • Intelligent Radio Recording ensures that pauses in the conversation will be automatically omitted from the recording.
  • Full traceability via searchable metadta (call details, timestamps, etc.) stored in an SQL database (to be installed separately).
  • Audio files are stored within the file system on the local server or on a network drive.
  • The data stream is buffered to the local storage device to prevent data loss.
  • Export of audio files for further use (e.g., to help improve customer service quality).
  • Individual sections of the recording can be cut and exported for further processing.
  • Additional to client licenses for every ComREC client, a license for every recording channel on the Intercom server is required.
