One Yacht – One IP Communication Platform
Onboard Communication for Superyachts
Superyachts are big, luxurious and for this reason, face-to-face communication is often not enough. That's why all passengers deserve the best possible communication system – with perfect speech intelligibility and highest reliability to ensure flawless onboard communication whenever needed and no matter where you are. With Ognios by Commend, not only quality but also individuality have top priority.
This is why Ognios by Commend stands for maximum flexibility in function AND design.
Onboard Communication
With maritime certified Intercom stations you can easily contact the crew, call for assistance or just order a meal in the yacht's galley. The crew can coordinate via the intercom stations not only from one intercom station to another, but also from an intercom station to any mobile phone or even to a SIP desk phone.
System redundancy combined with perfect speech intelligibility make your onboard communication failsafe and increase operational efficiency – handsfree or with handset.
Round-The-Clock Passenger Assistance
Intercom Stations with Touchscreen are an elegant way to display information specifically for guests and passengers on the yacht. The ship's steward can be contacted with a simple touch gesture and all other functions can be displayed on the touch screens.
Touchscreen station are IP65 protected and are available with 5" or 10" screens. The screens and content can be customised as mentioned to inform and a dedicated emergency mode displays important information in emergency situations.
Removing System Boundaries and Unifying Communication
A yacht‘s bridge is its central command and control centre – its nerve centre, where countless functions and controls converge. To keep everything running smoothly on the bridge, a unified communication interface for everyday and critical communication is the proven state of the art.
Ognios by Commend brings Intercom, PA/GA, Telephony and Mobile Radio seamlessly together on a single unified communication user interface on bridges.
The Safety of Crew and Passengers is the most important Aspect
The public address system is one of the most central communication elements on board to inform passengers and crew during operation and to warn them in critical situations.
Ognios by Commend Intercom stations can deliver announcements through seamless integration with PA/GA systems and be used to make announcements. In addition, the crew can respond immediately to the announcements and answer via the Intercom stations.
